I in no way feel I a smart, but some people give me a perspective that does make me feel somewhat brighter than they are. It is amazing that for 
some people, it is not even necessary to meet them to know they are dumb. The sad thing is most of them are unable to see it themselves. I will use 2 examples in the post: 1 – unknowing racist and 2 – a guy that does not realize elections are temporary situations. Both when called on their stupidity are clueless as to why sane people cannot see things like them.
Our first poster child for the need to cure dumbness is Denise Helms. Miss Helms posted on facebook, “Another 4 years of this 
(N-word). Maybe he will get assassinated this term.” When confronted by Fox 40 News she told them, “I didn’t think it would be that big of a deal. “The assassination part is kind of harsh. I’m not saying I’d go do that or anything like that, by any means, but if it was to happen I don’t think I’d care one bit.” WHAT? She does not understand why it’s a “big deal”? After losing her job because of the statement, I guess some one explained it to her because the next day she “took it back”!! What shocks me is she did not realize or even consider it racist until she suffered consequences.
Next up is Eric Hartsburg who had a Romney/Ryan campaign logo tattooed on his FACE. A tattoo is for life 
and, at most, a president can be in term is only 8 years. He was at least bright enough to have gotten paid for it. So just as this is dumb in my opinion… it also demonstrates greed – the “I’ll do anything for money” mentality. It is sad enough he now has the losing campaign logo permanently tattooed on his face, but he feels this will open doors in Hollywood! I hope he saved some of the $15,000 he was paid via an eBay auction for laser removal.
For someone to not realize that using the “N” word is racist – especially if it is followed by even a hint at the idea of the president being assassinated is at best dumb. To illustrate dumb, few would argue a face tattoo is a great way to demonstrate dumb, but a campaign logo tattoo takes the prize! I wish these two the best of luck with their futures… but in this reality tv society, I am afraid they will milk their fame from stupidity and be heard from again!

You phrased all of this so humorously that in spite of the content I laughed over and over!
Education is supposed to be the cure for dumb but some people just refuse to be helped.
PLANNED PARENTHOOD (in all senses of the phrase) is one answer for the cure for dumb. I’d bet the farm that this duo’s mothers did not pre-plan them and thus were ingesting some serious brain cell killers in the early stages of their pregnancies when the all important brain is the part of the fetus that is beginning to develop. Thus they start off at a loss when their mothers did not use birth control until being ready to have children. (Maybe one reason Paul Ryan was against birth control — so people too smart to vote him in would not be incubating.) I am beyond horrified that around 50% of births in this country are unplanned. I think that is a big reason why one reads more and more of so many startlingly stupid people these days — that and the fact that the ones who don’t plan their children may also be largely the ones who won’t actually parent them either.
Thoughts? Just my two cents since you asked.

You do make an excellent point! lol But this was written before Trump and before the pandemic! So, I could not have imagined back then the amount of dumb that would be surfacing from so many so unaware!
